Observations of the SD 135/84 solar active region were made with a birefringent filter in the H-alpha and Ba II 455.5 + or - 0.005 nm lines. The velocity fields derived from filtergrams taken in the wings of the Ba line were compared with chromospheric brightness maps. Areas with Doppler velocities of opposite sign were observed at one of the filament ends on different sides from its axis; this may be due to filament rotation or directed motion in loops located normal to the filament. In addition, it is shown that different AFS fibril systems belong to different supergranules.
