This paper presents a study of the velocity components of the local centroids in the Galactic plane for a point-axial stellar system model in a nonstationary state and with an equatorial plane of symmetry. The following results are obtained: (1) displacement and attenuation of the maximum of the velocity-distance curve for different values of the theta direction; (2) the existence of expansion and contraction zones in the galactic plane.
