Sub-auroral F region irregularities have been studied with two HF, coherent backscatter radars looking simultaneously at the same irregularity volume from two different locations. Using simple assumptions, the two components of the velocity of the irregularities have been computed in a plane perpendicular to B. An example of relatively high westward velocity which might be attributed to a sub-auroral ion drift enhancement is presented.
