Gamma-Ray Bursts: Correlation Analysis

Systematic variations of correlation properties between different parameters of gamma-ray bursts are revealed from analysing the Third BATSE (3B) γ-ray burst catalog. The correlation coefficient between the burst fluence and duration was increasing with time from 1991 April to 1994 September. The correlation coefficient between the hardness and duration did not show noticeable variation for longer bursts, but was evidently increasing with time for short bursts.
