The mineral phases of thy L 5-6 Tsarev meteorite are separated by selective dissolution. Both bulk samples of gas and gas fractions separated at various temperatures between 400 and 1700 C are analyzed. The isotopic heterogeneity of the xenon in the meteorite is revealed. Under the effect of heating or the action of solvents of increasing activity, the isotopic makeup changes in regular fashion. For example, the Xe-132/Xe-130 ratio is between 7.055 + or - 0.024 and 6.224 + or - 0.020; the Xe-136/Xe-130 ratio is between 2.320 + or - 0.034 and 2.000 + or - 0.012; and the Xe-129/Xe-130 ratio is between 9.112 + or - 0.100 and 6.301 + or - 0.030. These changes are such that they can be explained on the basis of a three-component isotopic makeup of the meteor. Here, mass-fractionated Xe-Z and Xe-P are present, along with, possibly, radiogenic Xe-X.
