The observations were performed using a double-solar monochromator. The asymmetry of very weak lines was found to be highly varied, which may be associated with the superfine structure. Results are in accord with the theoretical interpretation of the asymmetry of traveling sonic waves. Observations of the same lines on different dates indicate a possible change in asymmetry with time. The turbulence velocities calculated from the widths of certain elements exhibit considerable diversity. The lines of the light elements S, Si, and N appear to be very wide. The effect of superfine and isotopic structure is shown to change to a marked degree the form and width of the profiles of many Fraunhofer lines.
