We investigate a possible observational test of a new model, the Dual Jet Model, using variability data. This model (Punsly 1998) is based on two concentric jets, one emanating from the black hole ergospheric disk and the other from the hole horizon. This model provides natural explanations for the gamma-ray properties of different types of quazars and Blazars in a fairly simple two-parameter scheme involving accretion rate and rotation rate. We analyze a possible new test for the model using historical optical and radio light curves. This paper outlines the methodology and preliminary results of this study.
