Results of spectroscopic observations of 35 southern Seyfert galaxies are reported. The objects are classified, line fluxes and widths are measured, and peculiarities of the spectra are discussed. Many of the objects were observed more than once, and changes in the line strengths and profiles are examined. Comparisons with the spectra published by other investigators are also made. Attention is given to the activity class, the redshift on which the estimate of the luminosity depends, the Balmer decrement, the width of the broad lines, the luminosity of the broad-line region, the luminosity of the narrow-line region, and the relative strength of the F II emission features.
