Geant4 is a new particle detector simulator written on the Object Orientated Programming paradigm. Since its public release in 2000, the program has been applied in designing major particle physics experiments. GLAST Large Area Telescope detects gamma rays by tracking electron-positron pairs much like in collider particle physics experiments. For this reason, the collaboration has adopted Geant4 not only as the instrument simulator but as the method to calibrate the detector response at energies not accessible with accelerators. To make the simulation and calibration reliable, we have been validating the program against the theory, the beam test data and the balloon flight data. Through these studies, we validated the physics process modelling and improved inaccucy in the electron-magnetic process modeling.
