A possible modulation of the Hipparcos light curve of the B8IIIpSi spectroscopic-eclipsing binary V772 Cas is proposed, with a period of possibly 1-2 days. Intrinsic variability, possibly of the alpha^2 CVn type, in the primary star is proposed as its source. The first spectroscopic orbit for V772 Cas is presented, and the RVs are used in connection with the Hipparcos photometric data to determine a consistent time of primary minimum. If these results are confirmed, V772 Cas would be only the third chemically peculiar early-type eclipsing binary star that is also intrinsically variable, and only the second to have had its spectroscopic orbit determined. It is hoped that this confirmation may be accomplished during the 2008-2009 observing season.
