New photometric observations for V577 Ophiuchi are presented. V577 Oph is an eclipsing binary with a low amplitude variable star of the δ Scuti type as the primary component (Volkov, 1990). V577 Oph has been examined by Volkov (1990) and more recently by Zhou (2001). In these two previous studies, the pulsation period was found to be 0.069491 days. Nine new nights of data were acquired using the 16-inch telescope on the campus of Brigham Young University. We will present results on the period of both the eclipsing component and the pulsational component. In addition, we will discuss the need to make an 'asterocentric' correction to the pulsational data.
