Seven spectrometers, covering the ultraviolet and visible spectral regions were designed, built, and tested under this contract. One UV Spectrometer was packaged with a telescope, scan platform and electronics, and flown on Shuttle Mission STS-4. Several other spectrometers were similarly packaged for a subsequent Shuttle experiment. Ground support equipment was provided for the units.
