Observations carried out by the International Ultraviolet Explorer (IUE) of the shock exited nebulae HH 7, HH 11 and HH 29 are presented. The individual UV observations of these objects appear very faint. An alternative extraction method different from that commonly used for the reduction of IUE data is described. The method is applied to the data in image space therefore not distorting the photometry. The reliability of this method is demonstrated. Data from the observation of the Herbig-Haro stars is presented and discussed.
