The Seyfert galaxy 3C 120 was repeatedly observed during 1983 to 1986 in the optical, ultraviolet, and X-ray bands. The maximum amplitude variation, a factor 1.5 in the optical (5500 A) and 2 in the UV (1500 A), was observed between August and October-November 1983, not accompanied by a comparable variation at X-ray frequencies. The UV optical observations at these two epochs are discussed.
