The problem is examined of controlling the final state of a spacecraft
along powered-flight trajectories. Control is achieved by continuous
correction of the trajectory by predicting the miss at the final point.
The accuracy requirements of the prediction are discussed, and methods
of improving prediction accuracy are proposed.
