The possibility of the existence of intermediate mass black holes (IMBHs) raises interesting questions in stellar dynamics and the potential for the detection of significant gravitational wave emissions from globular clusters. While globular clusters seem to be the best place to search for IMBHs, no definitive observational evidence for their existence has been found. Numerical simulations of the clusters can only follow the movement of masses within the cluster, whereas observations of the clusters cannot yet reliably resolve individual stars well enough to allow a direct comparison. We will present the results of our search for observational evidence of the presence of an IMBH by observing its effect on mass segregation during n-body simulations. In particular, we find that an IMBH completely changes the dynamics of a cluster, and has the effect of suppressing mass segregation. We hope to successfully translate this effect into a photometric signature that can be compared with observational data.
