For many years, the NOAA National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) and co-located World Data Center A for Solar-Terrestrial Physics (WDC) has collected and disseminated solar databases from the worldwide network of solar observatories. Many databases are published routinely in the monthly report Solar-Geophysical Data (SGD). For over two decades, NGDC has worked on converting their analog archives to digital format for easier access by the community. These include data from printed reports, such as the Cartes Synoptique and the IAU Quarterly Bulletin on Solar Activity (QBSA). More recently solar imagery has been a focus. We review the many databases now available online and give an update on current and planned data rescue efforts. The NOAA Climate Data Modernization Program (CDMP) is acknowledged for funding the recent data rescue efforts.
