High-resolution IUE spectra were analyzed in order to study the UV interstellar absorption lines, and to compare the differences between interstellar column densities, in the line of sight to AE Aur (O9.5V) and Theta-2 Ori A (O9.0V). The velocities and equivalent widths of the UV interstellar absorption lines of C II, excited C II, Al II, Si II, excited Si II, Cr II, Fe II, Ni II, and Zn II are presented. It is found that these ions could be fit on one empirical curve of growth with a velocity parameter of 13 km/s for the case of both stars.
