Observations of solar flares in the EUV region were carried out in March
1989 using the SUFR instrumentation on Phobos-2. A large (twofold)
increase in the UV-radiation intensity in the flare observed on March 10
was found which was connected with an intense augmentation of the X-ray
flux (class X4.5).
