Scientific paper

This paper reviews recent advances in particle detection using
superfluid 3He at ultra-low temperature about 100 μK, for application
in large detector project ULTIMA for the search of non-baryonic Dark
Matter. The unique advantages of 3He, and in particular of its
superfluid state, for Dark Matter search are highlighted.
