This study presents results of a ubvy + H-beta photometric investigation of 22 and 14 stars, in the fields of NGC 1502 and NGC 2169, respectively, including new H-beta measurements for the 22 stars in NGC 1502. A comparison with the findings of Perry et al. (1978) and Reimann and Pfau (1987) is discussed, with particular attention to the presence of systematic errors present in the sequences of instrumental and standard values. The membership of the observed stars is discussed on the basis of the available photometric and radial velocity data.
