The results of simultaneous UBVRI observations of the dwarf nova SS Aur are presented. The decrease of brightness to V = 15m.5 in comparison with the usual quiescence magnitude V = 14m.7 is noted. In the low brightness stage, the distribution of energy is best fitted by the sum of two blackbody curves of 25000K and 3000K temperatures which correspond to the radiation of the double system components consisting of white and red dwarfs. The additional radiation which is responsible for the brightening up of the system to the usual value V = 14m.7 is in good agreement with steady-state accretion-disk radiation. Besides, the system undergoes rapid light variations in the time scale of 20 - 40 minutes with amplitudes increasing to the shorter wavelengths and attaining 0m.7 in the U band. The intensity of these variations increases with general brightening of the system.
