UBVR photoelectric photometry of sequences in two regions, M 31 and M 33, and of several transfer stars around the M 31 disk are presented and analyzed. The II and IV fields in M 31, the NE and SW fields in M 33, and the stars between 13 and 16 mag distributed around M 31 were observed with the University of Minnesota 'two-holer' photometer/polarimeter from 1982-1985. The photometric data are compared with the UBV sequences of Arp for M 31 field IV and of Sandage and Johnson (1974) for M 33. It is observed that the differences between the data are small, and therefore it is concluded that both set of data are on the same photometric system and can be used together.
