U.B.V.r. measurements of 2345+007 A,B are found compatible with the gravitational lens hypothesis. If so, the main deflecting galaxy could not be brighter than V ≈ 22.2, r ≈ 21.5. Such a galaxy could belong to a group at z > 0.5 which would help to the lensing and increase the separation of the 2 detected images. Few faint galaxies are detected in a 20 arc sec square area around 2345+007.
