Contour maps in both magnitude and color have been obtained for the globular clusters M3, M5, M13 and M92 using a UBV photoelectric drift scanning technique. From the contour data, magnitudes and colors for various specified diaphragm sizes and centered annuli have been synthesized for each cluster. These data are in excellent agreement with published data. The synthesized annuli computed from the contour data yield the radial color distribution for each cluster to a radius of approximately 5 arc minutes. The clusters M5 and M13 do not show any detectable radial color gradient. For the cluster M3, the B-V index revealed a small radial gradient. The center of the cluster M3 shows a B-V index 0.04 bluer than the region beyond 2 arc minutes. This effect is probably the result of mass segregation within the cluster. This is in agreement with previous observations of M3 indicating that, of the horizontal branch stars the blue stars are more concentrated to the center. Similarly, theoretical models require a fully relaxed stellar distribution for M3.
