Photoelectric UBV measurements of 10 stars have been made in the region
of Be 96. A distance of 5.3 kpc and an earliest spectral type of B0V
were derived. This cluster could be considered as a new spiral structure
tracer belonging to the arm beyond the Perseus arm.
