UBV observations of a contact binary AM Leonis obtained during 1982, 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991 observing seasons are presented. Based on all available light curves of the system we studied time dependent light variations of the system, particularly at the extrema points. Time scale of the variations was found as short as a few cycles (approximately 1 day). Thirteen estimates of the minima times are given. Altogether 22 recent times of minima reveal the following improved light elements: Min I = HJD 2439936.8217 + 0.365797060E.
