UBV observational material of the eclipsing binary SV Cam is presented and the existence of a migrating distortion wave demonstrated. Observed light-up and connected period change indicate the appearance of gas streams in the system. Observed flare events may be connected with a spotted region on the surface of the secondary component. Also presented are 53 new photoelectric times of minima.
