Scientific paper

A catalog of photometric UBV magnitudes and colors of 105 double galaxies is presented. The integral B magnitudes and (B-V) and (U-B) colors are reduced to the standard UBV system. Observations are corrected for atmospheric extinction, light absorption in the Galaxy, red shift, and internal reddening. Full corrected observations are compared with the data of the RC2 catalog. A strong correlation (Holmberg's effect) is shown to exist for EE and SS systems.
