We will present the results of U-band observations of the Ultra Deep Field (UDF) taken with Hubble's WFPC2/F300W. The U-band maps out star formation in distant galaxies due to band-shifting of the UV spectrum at high redshifts. This can provide a window into how star formation in the past compares to star formation in our local universe. We used a multidrizzle software to combine our data into a single image for source detection. We used Source Extractor to produce a catalog which has 100 U-band sources. This catalog was matched with a B-band catalog provided by the Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey (GOODS). Our final catalog contains GOODS photometric redshifts, spectroscopic redshifts (where available), spectral types, and U, B, V, i, and z magnitudes of our U-band sources. The catalog has a U-band magnitude limit of 23.5. The redshifts of the sources range between 0.05 < photometric redshift < 2, with a distribution peak at z = 0.7. The majority of the galaxies have the spectral type of a late-type spiral (Scd), and no ellipticals are detected. In this poster we will present redshift and spectral type distributions, along with several multi-wavelength images of our sources. We will also compare the properties of the U-band sources with the overall distribution of galaxies in the GOODS-S field. Our catalog is available online for the public at: http://goods.gsfc.nasa.gov/release/UDF_F300W/gallery/acs_table.1.html.
