Scientific paper

UBVR photometry of 37 galaxies taken from Arakelyan's list of high surface brightness galaxies and from some lists of Markarian galaxies has been carried out. Positions of the observed galaxies on the two-colour diagram demonstrate the diversity of their morphological types. Some objects have proved to be in the region occupied by Seyfert galaxies.
