The possible discovery of two radio-quiet BL Lac objects is reported. A radio-linked interferometer with a resolution of about 1 arcsec was used to investigate the 408-MHz structure of 13 BL Lac objects. Of the nine sources found to have extended structure at this scale, all but two were found to have diffuse halo emission surrounding a compact nuclear core. These two radio sources, 1210+121 and 1620+103, which are associated with optical nuclei identified as BL Lac objects, were observed to exhibit marked variations of fringe amplitude with interferometer hour angle, which can be well fit by models of collimated double structure. In addition, offsets of 16 and 23 arsec between the positions of 1210+121 and 1620+103, respectively, and their associated optical nuclei are observed. Results can be interpreted in terms of relativistic motions within BL Lac nuclei, or by radio-quiet BL Lac objects associated with radio galaxies in the same clusters.
