Magnetographs: Solar Magnetic Fields

This paper introduces, in an all-round way, the first two-dimensional real time solar video magnetogram (VMG) system in China. The system contains a small size, high resolution image (500×582) pixel CCD camera for the video receiver, a series of 151 image processors, one IBM/AT microcomputer, and one set ethernet network equipment (including hardware and software). Also described is the software of image collecting, processing and recording.
