On the plates obtained in the Schmidt focus of the 2-meter Tautenburg telescope, B and V photometric measurements of the cluster of galaxies A 2634 in a field 2°.6×2°.6 have been carried out. The field galaxy density has been determined on the same plates. The cluster has a core of high galaxy density surrounded by a corona of essentially lower density. The value of the parameter fB introduced by Butcher and Oemler for galaxies brighter than MV = -19.8 is equal to 0.07. In the cumulative luminosity function no change of slope is observed. Apparently there are a lot of flattened galaxies in the cluster.
