Inspection of a recent Burrell Schmidt objective-prism plate indicates
that the emission characteristics of the well-known Perseus cluster
member HD 14422=V424 Per have greatly diminished. Further, the late -B
field star HD 12994 now exhibits strong Balmer emission. (SECTION:
