Modest rotation induces tumbling in a wide class of stellar systems, due to the reinforcing of precessing orbital-plane tipping by a weak, bar-like perturbation. The orbital planes are trapped into libration as the amplitude of the tumbling bar grows. Numerical experiments have been conducted which agree with linear theory predictions, and demonstrate the tipping and the trapping of the orbital planes. The combination of trapped, librating orbits gives rise to a boxlike appearance upon projection; the observed correlation between 'boxy bulges' and early-type disk galaxies is compatible with this interpretation, since a strong disk component may preclude the trapping of the orbital planes by the bar.
