Parallaxes and proper motions based on observations with the 40 in. refractor of the Yerkes Observatory are presented for 21 stars. Plates were measured on the MADRAF PDS microdensitometer in Madison, WI, yielding an increase in precision of a factor larger than 2 over previous parallaxes measured on the Yerkes measuring machine. The average standard error of these parallaxes is ±0arcsec.0023. Several of these stars are subdwarfs.
