A model of gravitational radiation and the way in which this model relates to disturbances of satellite systems, libration points, double satellite systems, and the Oort comet cloud are discussed. Perturbations can occur in the form of impulses, periodically, or secularly. Governing equations for the waves and their effects are given. 'Thermal' gravitational radiation and the Kirchhoff emission/absorption principle are explained.
