The cooling flow cluster associated with 2A 0335+096 has a very high inferred mass accretion rate, yet its relative proximity allows for detailed study. We present an analysis of long-slit spectroscopy and narrowband images of the cluster associated with 2A 0335+096. Moderately-high dispersion long-slit spectra of the Hα +[NII] emission lines were obtained on the KPNO 4m telescope along four slit positions, enabling us to probe multiple areas along the cluster of galaxies. The morphological structure and kinematics of the optical line emitting gas are studied in comparison to hot gas observed with ROSAT and Chandra and cool gas observed with the VLA. Our spectra allow us to determine the velocity and ionization of the intermediate-temperature gas inside the cluster.
