Some main mechanical errors of the 1.26 m Infrared Telescope are discussed in this paper, and the harmonic analysis method has been used for separating them into different components (2 min display errors, 4 min 17 sec short-period tracking error, long-period tracking error, etc.). The main reasons producing the errors are discussed and a theoretical calculation has been made for confirming the analysis mentioned above. Some methods of eliminating these errors and optimized results about the telescope tracking are also introduced.
