In this paper, the theoretical frame is general relativity and we consider only interferometric detectors. We first concentrate our attention upon the number of gravitational pulses detected per day in coincidence by C antennae belonging to a network of n antennae (c ≤ n). Then we present some results about the directivity and discuss the conditions required for the birth of gravitational astronomy.
