The RESOLVE (REsolved Spectroscopy Of a Local VolumE) Survey is a complete, volume-limited census of stellar, gas, and dynamical mass within 53,000 cubic Mpc of the local universe. RESOLVE includes all galaxies down to a dwarf-galaxy baryonic mass of 109 Msun. Dwarf galaxies often have large reserves of atomic gas, so even objects with meager stellar mass may satisfy RESOLVE's baryonic mass limit when the gas mass is taken into account. We present a correlation between NUV-r color and the ratio of atomic gas to stellar mass, which enables us to estimate dwarf galaxy gas masses. We identify dwarf galaxies whose NUV-r derived gas masses push them over the RESOLVE mass limit. Then, for those without SDSS redshifts, we follow up with the SOAR telescope to confirm survey membership. This approach makes it possible to construct the baryonic mass function where RESOLVE is fully covered by GALEX. Since dwarf galaxies have substantial dark matter as well as gas, the next step will be determining the dynamical masses of dwarf galaxies using a custom-built image slicer to map internal kinematics. The slicer will allow for efficient determination of dwarf-galaxy dark matter content, key to measuring the dynamical mass function for the galaxy population and mapping out the distribution of mass in relation to large scale structure within RESOLVE.
