By considering the competitive factors of spin-generated torsion and quadratic bulk viscosity in a Robertson-Walker universe the author obtains the first integrals of the equation of motion for a wide range of equations of state. All of the cosmologies have an evolution that is retarded by the effects of torsion and bulk viscosity either accelerates or decelerates the expansion depending on the magnitude of the bulk viscosity coefficient.
