We discuss tools being developed for the analysis of binary star data on desktop computers. The rapid advance of computing power has made it possible to analyze data in ways not previously possible, and tools are being developed to exploit this power. We also discuss the application of emerging technologies like Java to data analysis, as well applications of the Internet to binary star data retrieval and analysis.
