The WFC channel of the ACS camera aboard the HST has surveyed the sky with unprecedented resolution and sensitivity over several years of operation. The typical cadence of observations make many of the existing images in the archive well suited for a comprehensive search for objects in the Trans-Neptunian space. We selected all available fields within 5 degrees of the ecliptic and searched for distant moving objects within each set of observations taken during a single orbit of the HST. Our method makes this process consistent for every orbit and enables the quick identification of TNOs.
The size and orbital distribution are presented, and their implications are shown.
