The advantage of the method of common sighting of synchronous satellite in time comparison is emphasized. This method is applied to the dynamical orbit determination of Asia Satellite No. 1. The results show that, after the differential orbit improvement, the error in time comparison is less than 1 μm. The error in time prediction in 1-2 days is about 1 μm, and in one week, about a few μm, under the present observing accuracy.
