Our time series analysis of sixteen BV light curves of the chromospherically active binary V511 Lyr confirmed the 2fd7 rotation period uniquely. The seasonal periodicity changes of 3.8% indicated the presence of detectable surface differential rotation. The significant 2fd67455 periodicity in the light curve minimum epochs suggested that the strongest starspot formation in V511 Lyr was concentrated on one stable active longitude. Table 2 is only available in electronic form at the CDS via anonymous ftp to cdarc.u-strasbg.fr (130.79.128.5) or via http://cdsweb.u-strasbg.fr/cgi-bin/qcat?J/A&A/383/197. The photometric data are also available at http://schwab.tsuniv.edu/t3/v511lyr/v511lyr.html
