To investigate the mechanisms of stellar flares, we carried out spectroscopic observations of an RS CVn binary V711 Tau with a high dispersion (R=30,000) and a high time resolution (about 30 sec) as well as simultaneous photometric observations. Although no large flare was unfortunately detected during our observations, time-dependent variations in the Hα region were found by correlation-analyses. We conclude that these variations probably originate from the rotation of the primary star with an active region strongly emitting Hα. In addition, unprecedented time dependent variations in the Na D doublet were found.
