It is well known that the Kerr metric admits nontrivial causality violation in a small region (V.R. region) where the Killing vector becomes timelike. In the special case of a naked singularity, this region can be physically connected to the outer space with the particular class of null or timelike geodesics said to be of the vortical type. Members of a simple class of vortical geodesics confined on a family of hyperboloids are shown not to violate causality in the sense of coming back out at an earlier time even if they transverse the V.R. region.
