A time-dependent analytical solution to the Vlasov-Poisson gravitational system of equations is found by the method of self-similar group transformation. Parameters are selected to ensure mass conservation. The solution is studied for convergence and initial conditions. The system of stars is seen to be infinitely expanding with time. The concept of contamination is introduced to restrict the solution to the inner part of the galaxy.
